Mød festivalen ANIMAYO VAF byder hjerteligt velkommen til Animayo, den første og eneste spanske animationsfestival, der er ”kvalifikationsfestival" for Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences til Oscar Awards. Animayo blev skabt tilbage i 2006 af instruktør og producer Damián Perea, og står i dag som en stærk international festival spækket med filmprogrammer og inspirerende events, der fremmer kreativitet, teknologisk udvikling og audiovisuel produktion. Damián Perea er i år en del af VAF Best feature Juryen, og det er med stor glæde at VAF kan præsentere Damián og Animayo i denne kortfilmsvisning, hvor Damián præsentere nogle af de bedste kortfilm fra deres festival visninger, og giver publikum et unik indblik i en anden stor europæisk animation festival.

Meet the ANIMAYO festival VAF warmly welcomes you to Animayo, the first and only Spanish animation festival that is the "qualification festival" for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the Oscar Awards. Animayo was created back in 2006 by director and producer Damián Perea, and today stands as a strong international festival packed with film programs and inspiring events that promote creativity, technological development and audiovisual production. Damián Perea is this year part of the VAF Best feature Jury, and it is with great pleasure that VAF can present Damián and Animayo in this short film screening, where Damián presents some of the best short films from their festival screenings, and gives the audience a unique insight into another major European animation festival.
