Den sorte komedie 'Mand Op' er Frederikke Aspöcks femte spillefilm efter succeserne 'De frivillige' og 'Viften'.
Filmen serverer en skarp, morsom og tankevækkende satire om maskulinitet, magt og moderne kønskampe.
Vi følger Rasmus, der i frustration over tidens kønsroller starter den hemmelige undergrundsgruppe “Mand Op”. Om dagen arbejder han i en fagforening – om natten kæmper han og vennerne for at genetablere den “naturlige orden” fra de gode gamle dage, hvor mænd styrede, og kvinder passede hjemmet.
Filmen 'Mand Op' har et stærkt hold bestående af bl.a. Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, Christopher Læssø, Zaki Youssef, Sofie Torp og Amanda Collin foran kameraet.
