Den danske film 'Ingen kære mor' er et livsbekræftende, rørende og hjertevarmt drama om tre generationer af kvinder i en familie.
Moderen er uhelbredeligt syg, men det har hun kun fortalt sin datter. Ikke sin egen mor. Da de alle tre ender med at fejre jul sammen i et sommerhus, kommer sandheden frem, og kvinderne tvinges til at konfrontere hinanden og deres relationer på kryds og tværs.
Fortalt med både humor og håb, bliver julen rammen for kvindernes uundgåelige mor/datter-opgør, som måske kan bane vejen for en ny begyndelse.
