I den danske animationsfilm 'Betty Ballon' mødes to vidt forskellige verdener, da en kaktusfamilie flytter ind ved siden af Betty Ballon og hendes familie.
Selvom balloner og kaktusser umiddelbart ikke lyder som det oplagte match, opstår der hurtigt et særligt venskab mellem børnene. Gennem leg, fantasi og nye oplevelser opdager de, at forskelligheder ikke er noget, man behøver at være bange for, men tværtimod kan de gøre livet endnu mere spændende.
'Betty Ballon' er skrevet og instrueret af Puk Grasten og produceret af Regner Grasten Film, der bl.a. står bag Krummerne.
Filmen får premiere i efterårsferien.
