Ungdomsfilmen 'After Everything' er den femte film i serien om Tessa og Hardin, som begyndte med fanfiction-filmatiseringen 'After' i 2019.
'After Everything' handler om Hardin, der kæmper med at få ordene til sin næste bog ned på papiret, da Tessa bliver ved med at spøge i hans tanker. Presset fra hans forlag og familie vokser, så Hardin beslutter sig for at opsøge en gammel ven i Portugal. Her møder vi for første gang Natalie.
Hardin prøver at råde bod på sin komplicerede fortid med Natalie, men hans mørke side får ham i problemer med Natalies ven Sebastian. Hardin indser, at han stadig er knust over ikke at have Tessa i sit liv, men Tessa ønsker dog, at Hardin skal komme videre, som hun selv er. Det hele bliver en gang for alle sat på spidsen for Hardin og Tessa, i den sidste film i After-franchisen, hvor de endeligt må beslutte, om det er muligt at leve uden sin sjæleven og store kærlighed.
Hero Fiennes Tiffin og Josephine Langford er tilbage i rollerne, som Hardin og Tessa, mens nye ansigter, som Mimi Keene fra hitserien 'Sex Education', også kan opleves denne gang.
