Generation gaps - no thanks! Three young dudes from three different countries engage themselves and their grandmothers in an anarchistic film project to share and conserve the aging ladies' stories before it is too late. And what ladies, what stories! With an English spy, a dancer from Nazi Germany and a Hungarian communist Holocaust survivor on the cast list, the three young cats are struggling to have the upper hand in face of the wise, elderly women. 'Granny Project' is shot over the course of no less than seven years, and behind the jolly spirit and youthful energy, the film testifies to a heartfelt wish to come to terms with history and heritage - both the personal and the political.
